PLAY ME. BOY. Variations.
Share
Between visual research and subtle protest, my new series PLAY ME. BOY. Variations. was born out of the same sketch repeated again and again elongated hands grasping at emptiness. Through repetition and reversal, shifting colors and mirrored directions, I explore how the body slips away and turns into image. Is it still flesh and blood, or has it already become a logo, a product, a brand? This is not a manifesto, but an ongoing visual inquiry an attempt to reconsider the boundary between what we see and how we see it.

The fifth issue of ZINE will be released on August 25th and available on my website.
This issue presents four new paintings alongside a rare glimpse into the studio process.
